Agree 100%. I've been a Scorcese fan all the way back to Mean Streets and Italianamerican. This one is a snooze-fest. Everyone's "phoning it in." Script is boring, characters aren't compelling. Feels more like a documentary. They de-aged all the actors using CGI, and the results aren't pretty.
I think of it as more of a tribute to the actors and his previous movies, than a film meant to be significant on its own. Still not worth more than an hour or so. |
Robert Di Niro in mean streets is no comparison to him in this movie with CGI.
