I have to guard against using these effects too much. They're really dramatic to throw into the middle of a bunch of "normal" images, but the ratio needs to be like 1-to-100, unless you're doing an exhibit of Poster effects. The colors get wild, deep and really can zing. Don't forget to use the exposure and color curve to see a wide range of options. (I love that curve adjuster).
