Although they are committed to diesel, sales have dropped thanks to VAGs little deceptive stunt. With the consensus if one is doing it they all are doing it.
It would not be worth a handful of sales to develop a 550d for the US Market.
The 740eDrive takes the place of the Diesel 7er in North America now.
