Life doesn't stop because you have kids. I know plenty of friends who continue to have very active lives, they just bring their kids along. Obviously you can't ski down an alpine slope with baby in hand, but who's to say you can't still enjoy things and get out?

I think people that give up life and live in their holes at home just because they had kids wind up with more family issues than those who continue to be active and just bring the kids along. It exposes the kids to the world, which is sorely needed in this society we live in today...
