BTW, how do BMW 'purists' see the design of something like the F10/F11? Not the size, but the form.

Personally having lived with a BMW E39 and the F11, I see the F11 being more the natural progression from an E39, than having the E60/E61 in between the generations.
Totally agree don’t know what they were thinking with the e60!
