Audi R8 LMS ultra of Phoenix Racing - Christopher Haase # 4 - took P1 in timing in the one and only practice session for the N24.
BUUUT they were second in qualifying. The No. 69 McLaren MP4-12C of Rudi Adams was fastest in qualifying and that puts it in good shape to secure one of the ten remaining positions for Friday’s Top-30 Qualifying, which will set the final grid.
Felix Baumgartner - you know him from the Red Bull space dive stunt - came in 3rd for Sp9 in his Audi.
# 26 BMW Sports Trophy Marc VDS BMW Z4 GT3 was 4th.
Falken Motorsports' Porsche 911 GT3-R rounds out the top 5 from today
