Actually not.
I have had several hybrids and often have people walking or on bikes on dead end residential street that did not hear me coming up behind them.
They often blocked the road and after slowing to a stop was forced to sound the horn to get them out of the road to get by.
It is a safety feature I don’t want....but I understand the need.
Or just pipe ASD through a front speaker.
