Nah, BS, the dude thought his Tesla 3 can (could) drive itself. I have a coworker that has admitted he has napped during his freeway stints; he relies on the tech too much IMO. Tesla should be sued out of business for crap like this. You just can't go beta testing autonomy on public streets. Hopefully a few more stupid accidents like this will kill off the asinine idea about autonomous vehicles.

If you don't like to drive, then take public transportation, or take an Uber or Lyft or a cab, or become rich and hire a driver.

I hope the driver's dog is okay and the state LEO who's car he hit.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission.
