I own and serve as Principal Engineer and Practice Lead for a small software consultancy with 30-some consultants. We have a specialized practice and deep experience, and primarily serve Minnesota-based Fortune 100 clients like Wells Fargo, Best Buy, USBank, Thompson-Reuters, Securian Financial, Digital River. I'm still very much hands-on, designing and building software most every day.

I have a separate practice of software asset valuation due diligence, working for business brokers and investment firms in the mergers and acquisitions process. I assess the quality and viability of the software intellectual property a business has built or acquired, which is often a significant component of the value of the business.

I also serve as an ad-hoc IT consultant and advisor to some building materials companies that my family operates.
