I finally just invested in a radar detector. Bought the Uniden R7 on Amazon. Should be arriving today actually. I know it won't save me from laser, but I don't ever see cops shooting that where I drive.

Same here. 13mph over from a cop coming towards me on the highway. 1st in 16 years and I don't use any detectors. I just don't go over 5mph on the highways, stick to the back roads when possible.
