It needs to go to a BMW dealer and you need to tell them to write up a very thorough estimate using only BMW OEM parts. I had a 335xi which was flooded up to the sidemarkers but looked much less damaged than yours and it had over $30k in damage no problem. Totaled right away.

After the accident the police towed it to a local auto body place. The Geico adjuster did the estimate I am referring to above. When he was done with the estimate, I had it towed to an autobody place my family has been dealing with for years. He is going to look at it tomorrow and try to find the 9k more in damage. If he can't find it can I still send it to a bmw dealership or am I out of luck at that point?
