Unless you shoot off a machine rest, improved accuracy is a marketing tool for the average shooter.

While the lack of grooves should have little or no change in feel from a Gen 4, it somehow does feel "smaller" in my hand. Highly subjective.

The real change is the trickle down from the FBI contract pistol...the ambi slide stops and the flared magwell/front cutout, IMO. The chute is noticeably larger than my 4 in a side by side, and the front cutout makes for easier access to the magazine. The ambi stop will be welcome for lefties or shooting weak hand.

All good evolutionary changes.
