You have to laugh at the click bait end of the motoring press and the peoples who lap it up because they so want it to be true.
What Horner *thinks* doesn't make it fact.
There are currently three drivers lined up for the two Mercedes seats for the 2020 F1 season.
Hamilton/Russell/Bottas....with Hamilton/Russell the most likely combo.
If Hamilton and Bottas both retire then maybe Verstappen has a chance depending on his contract escape clause...but I wouldn't be putting any big bets on that tight set of circumstances.
