Michigan market is like no other. Everyone gets the discounts and they push as many cars as they can.
You can find higher end cars for pretty good rates.
The flip side is BMW...in Detroit Detroit there are 2 BMW dealers, 1 owns 3 stores, and then there is another. So everyone gets better deals outside of the area. Audi is similar. Mercedes seems to be pretty competitive even with a limited number of dealers.
If it wasn't for the high insurance cost we'd pick up a lease or two. You can lease fully loaded Ram's and Silverado's, $50,000 trucks for under $300 a month. If it wasn't for insurance we would have picked up one for when we needed it.
