I absolutely loved the Evo. I had done all the usual bolt ons and tuned it on e85. I am certain that I would still be driving it today if it had not been stolen from me. I still miss it a lot but my upgraded turbod 335i kinda sorta fills in the void (it certainly helps that its completely paid off and can work on it).
I test drove some of the newer BMWs and they just don't do it for me with the lack of steering feedback.
