The sport needs to have integrity. The teams can't be going around thinking that they can get away with bloody murder. The possible further penalties that could be applied to McLaren's case, should also be a deterrent to other teams that might want to go the road of dishonesty. A punishment shoudln't only be about punishing the guilty. It should also prevent others from following the path of the guilty.
I totally agree with you. When it all comes down to it, that's what matters most.
