So, you took that sentence from an article I attached to my post. But just some quick math. I can't find how much gas the C8 carries, but lets assume 20 gallons based on C7 specs, that's about 130lbs. 7.5 Quarts of oil is about 14 lbs. Then their is transmission oil, probably about the same or more given the transaxle, engine coolant likely more than the average 3 gallons, brake fluid, washer fluid and then all of the other lubes.....I'm going to say the 250lbs likely isn't far off.
