A bit adjustment for the track...

Quote:
The FIA has moved quickly to allay drivers' concerns about the safety of the pit entry in Korea by agreeing to a quick fix overnight.

The main area of contention for drivers after Friday's free practice had been that cars slowing to enter the pits could cause a danger to cars lapping the last corner at speeds up to 175mph.

But after discussing the situation in greater depth with the drivers, race director Charlie Whiting will have the white line on the pit entry removed according to Germany's Auto Motor und Sport.

The move will allow drivers coming into the pits not to have to lift through the fast corner before sweeping into the pits.

Organisers are also set to make the kerb at the Turn 16 left-hander higher to stop cars bottoming out and will build a new kerb at the Turn 18 apex to stop drivers cutting the corner and dragging dirt onto the circuit.
