Alfa's tuning of the ZF8 is not up to par with BMW or FCA. It's not quick enough or visceral enough downshifting unless you're in Race mode and fully fully fully up to transmission temp. Even then its just alright.
I've driven a 2019 392 Charger. The ZF8 absolutely RIPS with the 392 and its glorious, I can only imagine how good it is with 707 horsepower in the Hellcat. |
Um, Alfa is part of FCA, but perhaps the Chrysler side has a little more familiarity with it than the Fiat side.
