Don't get me wrong, the tech is impressive. On my Corolla with $1k comma ai device (basically a smartphone) I can go on I95 for like an hour without having to intervene. While I have not used autopilot for as long, it seems about the same. HOWEVER... that is in ideal conditions. For example I NEVER use it when driving I95 south getting to Miami. The road is horrible, people are bat shit crazy and I would have a heart attack watching either of these systems try to drive that and I'm sure that's nothing compared to NY City traffic.
