Both MB and BMW were also missing from the Philadelphia Auto Show this year as well.

Weird to me that companies are skipping the shows as they do a great job of letting you take a look at a wide variety of the manufacturers lineups without any pressure. For instance, I used it last year to extensively tour the MBUX system in the new A Class from MB as I was interested in what MB improved with their in car infotainment system compared to Comand in my 2014 C300.

I was overall fairly impressed with MBUX compared to Comand and it is possible if MB was able to push that out to the C or E Class I might have stayed with the brand. As I spent a fair bit of time testing out BMWs iDrive at the time as well.

Car shows have their limits, like the lack of test drives, but they can be good for low pressure exposure across brands.
