A few months ago I had my G29 in for service and was given a new G20 3 Series as a loaner. The first thing I noticed was that Spotify was listed under "Media" on the car - like on this guy's post

It didn't work through CarPlay and didn't need a phone connected - it all seemed to work through the car's own internet connection and was built into iDrive.
I emailed BMW to see if this was available in the G29, and they said I'd need the 11.2019 software. I had 07.2019 at the time, so I put the car into the dealer for some unrelated iDrive issues and got it back with 11.2019 installed - but I still didn't have Spotify showing.
Have any of you guys got Spotify showing on your Z4's iDrive? Once lockdown is over I'm probably going to wander over to the dealer and see if they know anything more about it.
