Here is a good example. My wife never drove stick and that is all I will even drive unless I lose a leg. So I told her if she wants to drive any car I will ever own she must learn stick and that I would teach her. Now that I taught her for the last 6 years all she has ever driven was a stick and just got an new X3 with a stick less than 2 months ago. If she did not like driving it she would not have a problem with me getting it on MY CAR.
Compromise is the key. My wife does not like Coral red interior but i am still getting it on my car I order next Feb because its my car. Her X3 is white with Tobacco because that is what she likes. I also happen to think its the best color combo but if she wanted green with beige (which I dont like) I would not stop her from getting it as its HER car. That is all I am trying to say to the OP.
