Thanks for the link. Regard the 6GT, perhaps they reconsidered, or perhaps BMW NA jumped the gun? That would not be unheard of. For example, if the announcement was made before it was determined that there was already a large supply of NA-spec 6GT vehicles or sub-assemblies in the pipeline, they may have realized it would be prudent to continue on into MY2020 for a few months. They could simply continue to sell them as MY2019 instead, but of course MY2020 would be more marketable (and this vehicle needs all of the help it can get in that area).
