This is going to sound controversial, bordering on stupid, but I really think Vancouver weather does tend to fuck me up real bad sometimes.
I mean it. The lead-like heavy claustrophobic clouds, perpetual dark and gloom and weeks of constant rain can destroy you.
Did you consider moving somewhere less depressing?
I know I did, and it may happen soon.
