It'll be good but I think people are going to be seriously disappointed not because the next 7-Series isn't a good car or won't function as intended in this segment but people are going to judge it for something that it isn't or really strives to be.

Will people use the 7-Series as a personal limo? Yes. Will it be loaded with tech and have the bells and whistles? Yes. Can you customize it through BMW Individual? Yes. The new 7-Series is going to do what it's meant to do but it's going to lack that extra notch of luxury because that's just BMW being BMW. The is probably 3rd in this segment but it's good enough if you follow the US sales where the S-Class sold approx. 13k last year to BMW's 10k.
