jk dont do that it will peel the clear coat, with my old car i use to use a wash mit for the entire car, then i had a gentle brush that i used for the bottom part of the doors and rear bumper, though i was too afraid to use the brush on the whole car lol

I spray the whole car first with solvent wash and rinse it off. Then I wash the car with wash mitt and after that with sponge. Usually the nasty winter grime still does not come off and sometimes I use again solvent wash with sponge. I wax my car frequently with Zaino but it is still very hard to get all the dirt off. My car is jet black and surprisingly I have not caused any major defects with this washing method. At least swirls are so light that they are easy to buff off just using PC with polishing pad only.

so i guess i will just have to wash it multiple times.

i have 3 coats of zaino but the bottom half of the car and

rear is just very hard to keep clean.

what kind of solvent do you use for the wash?

Get a foam gun. Spray the foam on the car. Let it set for a minute or two then rinse. That should get the majority of the salt off. Then go over it with a mitt like a usual car washing.

I've used Zaino Z-7 with the foam gun. It foams up pretty well. I also used Griot's car wash soap. That works almost as good. The key is to use the highest setting on the foam gun. It goes through the soap quicker but it also spits out more foam

ONR guys!!!
As long as u all have a good coat of wax or sealant on it do an ONR wash and it eats right through the winter grime/salt plus its alot easier to wash your car ONR style in the winter..

I know this may not be viable for most people but here it goes: Put the car on a lift and wash spray with a pressure washer using HOT water.
