The run flats on the E85 Z4 contributed to terrible driving characteristics and were universally hated. Most folks with one of those cars, including myself, threw away the runflats at the earliest excuse (oh look my tires are dirty and therefore need replacing) and replaced them with a good conventional tire for huge improvements in the car. I would go so far as to say that BMW lost many E85 sales following test drives by potential buyers solely because the car drove so f***ing terribly with the factory-equipped run flats. Now let's hope that BMW paid attention to its other E85 mistake and placed the G29's power top hydraulic motor in a location where it won't flood with water and fail.

I'm surprised they're not using PS4 since almost all new performance BMWs are starting to come with those.
