COVID got me bored and got me to build me wide some planter boxes she wanted. Gave me an excuse to drink alone and play with some of my tools so I made 3 of these. I killed almost a full case of 2007 Vieux Telegraphe making these. The French wine is what got me inspired to give it a French theme, plus I'm going for a ménage à trois in return for my 100+ hours of hard work and drinking. This is the small one about 3 feet wide. I made two others 4.5 wide.
I also blasted through about 10 80s movies in the background. I'm thinking of making making a cat tree next. I'm going a little insane. |

I guess I'm not the only one that had this thought come immediately to mind.

Not so much made, but I wanted to start lifting at home but the garage was full of crap. I boarded out part of my attic (new build so had to raise flooring with legs) and tidied up the garage to make room for a bench and weights.

Besides holding a NodeMCU captive, what exactly does it do?????

Interesting story - I breadboarded this up with a NodeMCU (ESP32) a few years back, when I wanted a third opinion on light/UV readings against two of my weather stations. The Lux and UV i2c breakout modules are on the edge of the board, so that they could be mounted facing the sky with the breadboard vertical: Never did anything with it after determining that these two sensors had lousy factory calibrations in sunlight and suspect Arduino support libraries.....

Anyways, ESP32 is cheap and versatile (hard to find anything cheaper with WIFI chip built-in) but also libraries seem to have bugs. Retrieving some webpages causes the board to reset. It is a known issue without any solution I could find so I just worked around it. |

Was researching these last week for work. Also working on a temp kiosk that will email supervisors immediately, by email in the event that a member of their team has a fever.....that more cowbell won't cure. From what I've researched UV-C isn't nearly as harmful as it doesn't fully penetrate the stratum lucidum. |

Ives( my middle name and my great grandfathers middle name as well) and Griggs( family name from my wife's side of the family.) We have been calling her Ivey but they both have more common middle names (Catherine and Dean, which both are family names as well) if they want to go by those.
