I didn't, but San Antonio roads are always updating. So it's not really a surprise on board information might be dated. (not that i pay attention to speed limit anyway)

Maybe we just don't notice it in the beater. :P We are more keenly aware when trying to protect our babies. LOL

Back in 2003 I had an Audi TT less than a month and a 1’ square piece of sheet metal fell off the truck in front of me and cartwheeled into my fender. There was not much I could do since I really couldn’t tell where it was going to go. The scrape was just enough to annoy me but not enough to warrant having it repainted. PPF takes this kind of thing out of the equation.

There were actually a total of 5 G29s out of approximately 50 cars. One blue, silver and red and two black, one with cerium trim and mine, which is shadowline. I meant to get a photo with just the G29s but time just got away from me.

Ah that would have been cool. I'm looking forward to attending the next cars and coffee here. Hoping to see at least one more G29. Hell there were three Z4's there TOTAL. E85 and an E86, both of which were not very well kept up. Very poor conditions on them both.

For me the BMWCCA chapter “cars and coffee” events have been a big disappointment. There are some interesting cars, but in general people did not seem interested in engaging, and the club itself made no attempt at outreach to new attendees. One time I tried to talk to three guys who I believe were actually club officials and they were more interested in talking to each other. There were a few exceptions, one being the local Z-Car group. The local Z car groups have been exceptional. Both the people and the events I’ve attended.

We had HUNDREDS of cars show up last time. Of course, this was not just a BMW club, it was all of san antonio with some sponsors showing up. There was an M club that showed up, but that's about it. |

I agree with you about the clean look for the Z4. My wife had a Mini Cooper where the white stripes on her blue car looked great. Most likely because the car also had a white roof.
