Cars are made for driving not for sitting in the garage.
I drive mine all year long, used to be parked outside 24/7 too

When I lived in NYC I only kept my RWD 2004 CLK500 cabriolet in the garage when it snowed or there was ice on the ground. Otherwise I was out and about year round. I would routinely drive around Manhattan with the top down in the winter if it was a sunny day wearing a ski jacket, gloves, wool cap and of course a cool pair of sunglasses. Needless to say the heated steering wheel and heated seats were always turned on and I was blasting the radio playing a good driving song.

People used to stare at me like I was doing something wrong and I was crazy but I was having a blast!

I briefly considered getting a C5 Corvette or an E36 M3 when I lived on the island, but the cost of parking was 25% of my rent at the time.

That and the fact that it would take me 45 minutes to get off the island headed someplace I wanted to go (CT or rural NJ) meant it would be a weekend only thing. Never pulled the trigger.

Your car; do what you want - mine sits inside a heated garage until I want to drive it and the insurance is taken off for the 6 months of winter here....I have other, more suitable, vehicles to drive in the snow and ice.

Canadian winters and Belgian winters are also a big difference, i think.
We rarely have more than 10cm of snow

This part you're referring to seems to like rattling with the bass and I don't like it.
