I personally think that the ivory does not go with the Glacier Sliver. I have had this color on an F10 550 and my previous G29 Z4. The darker leathers go best, but on this roadster if I could have my way i would get the red vernasca.

Thank you. I’ve exchanged some emails with someone at Elmhurst awhile back (when I got my M340), but I don’t remember their name. I’ll keep this in mind. I don’t think I prefer the Frozen Grey color however.

Yeah, it this has the red interior I’d be all over it. That’s my favorite interior color by a landslide.

The nice thing about a lighter colored interior on a cv is you can leave the top down and not worry so much about cooking your seats in the sun... or your backside when you get back in the car....

Thank you! I saw this one too. I grew up in the Cleveland, Ohio area and most of my family is still there. Erie is a quick trip from there. Could use it as an excuse to visit!

It is about 450 miles away so you would start your 1200 mile breakin for the Z4 on the way home.

Apologies for all the questions, but everyone here has been super helpful so I’m going to ask. What’s the difference between the standard soft top and the moonlight one? I realize the moonlight has a metallic shine to it, but is that it? Is it thicker or something since it costs $250 more?

Someone recently posted that is it made of a better quality material.

I believe that the Moonlight top doesn't show dust and light dirt as much as my standard black top.

My car was already sitting at a dealer with the standard black top but if I was ordering from the factory I probably would have ordered the Moonlight top which in my opinion compliments my Misano Blue body.

Yes, I will. I’m strongly debating just ordering a 2023 (which is why I ask). This way I can get exactly what I want, and I’m thinking by the time it comes in we’ll be a little closer to some warmer weather in Chicago when I can actually use the convertible feature

In my opinion you really have 2 choices, order a 2023 from a local dealer or make the dealer in Erie an offer they can't refuse. You might get a better deal with the dealer in Erie as winter is fast approaching and convertible sales do slow down and they will want to move the inventory already sitting in their lot.

My other observation on the Moonlight top is that I feel it gives the car a sleeker appearance because there is a slight sheen in the finish while the standard black top is more of a matte finish.

I like that car in Erie with the exception of the wheels. I know they are super popular, but I just don’t care for black rims.

I didn’t get a chance to go look at that silver one near me this weekend due to some other stuff we had going on which I forgot about. I’m wondering if they’d be willing to offer any discounts based on what you said with the weather. We’ve also worked with that dealer before on my wife’s car. Her lease is up in March, so I’m wondering if I play that card too, since we could just offer to buy two cars assuming we get fair prices.
