New monthly mileage feature in My BMW app after update.

My BMW app just did an update to version 3.90 and I immediately noticed a new feature giving a recap of my monthly driving information.

By the way, I am editing this post to give more detailed information on my best MPG trip. It was 110 miles, 1h 41min, 35.4 mpg, 67.6 average mph from Hallandale Beach to Naples.

Interesting. My app updated 9 days ago, back on the 11th and I noticed the new statistics but didn't notice the monthly summary. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

I cannot get My Trips to stay activated. I activated it on the day I got the car but noticed yesterday it was deactivated. So, I went thru the steps and reactivated My Trips and it showed my trips. Today I checked the App and it was deactivated again. If anyone has a suggestion that'd be great.

Try deleting the app and then reinstalling it. That might correct the issue.

Yes I noticed that also and am wondering if they are going to say that everyone is the same 34%.

I'm in the 25mpg group rather than the 30+. Even had a 16.7mpg over 27 miles/35mins...

Where did you go and how long was the drive where you achieved that 41.2 mpg figure?

Keep in mind that is a 30i, they should get more mpg’s then the 40i

Have you checked your privacy settings? I believe you have to share data including statistics.

Don’t worry, I offset my carbon with the tesla. And get really good mpg in the x7.

25mpg is perfectly respectable for the M40i unless you're doing mostly freeway driving where you should be averaging closer to 30mpg. Both numbers are highly respectable for a performance car.

Yes, all settings are correct. It used to work and now it doesn't. I tried 3 times yesterday to active the my drive feature. It just will not work. I already deleted the app and reinstalled a few weeks ago. I'm not going thru that again. Took me 2 weeks to get digital key working again.

How about 25 with 2/3 freeway driving and 1/3 canyons

Or 21 when the wife isn’t in the car

With my M3 I was averaging 17, so this is a a nice improvement and even more fun

Aside from the blue background color, which is a perfect accent for my Misano Blue these are the only two themes I would consider using.

Flat roads, little traffic, max speed of 60mph…..over 40MPG!? Evening drive. Left the house with estimated 290ish range….got home 1.5hrs later with estimated 300 miles left lol! This is using almost all Comfort/Adaptive mode. Early in the day I used Sport Individual, thus the range calculation greatly improved.
This B58 is quite remarkable engine.

I got the My Trips feature working yesterday, and it logged a 5.4 mile drive.

But then today I did about 150 miles and my phone shows no activity.

These car/phone integrations really leave a lot to be desired.
