Distance -wise probably 2 days, but there's time spent in Boston unloading as well, I'd bet a day, maybe 2 there. So... + 4 days?

Most of the current schedules show 1 day in Baltimore, then 2 days to get to Brunswick. When mine came in to Brunswick, it was 3 days after the ship arrived before it was "At the port". BMW doesn't count it until the car clears customs and reaches the VPC. After BMW inspects the car and installs any dealer options, it then it has to be assigned a carrier and dispatched. All that can take 3 to 10 days, but typically less than a week. Once "In transit" it will reach the dealer in a day, maybe two.

Regarding the lack of reviews, most YouTubers get handed press cars so until the MT demos get handed out there won’t be any unless someone bought their car outright.

Hopefully someone in Michigan can lend their car to Savagegeese for a proper sendoff of this Z4 generation. (They never tested a 40i, just bashed it’s 30i trim in both reviews.)

According to Tracer's early post, it looks to be about 4-6 days.
My CA informed that timing for me yesterday and another week to get from Brunswick to Naples.

Ehh, sort of. I don't know if I'd describe it quite like that. In the first one he talked about winning an autocross press event with it, and I'd say in both they talked about it handling great, being underrated, things like that. They definitely peed on it being forgotten by BMW and the video title was forgettable, but I do think a few times they were saying "this is a great car". Maybe I'm remembering what I wanted to hear but I didn't think they hated it at all. Joked about it, but liked it.

You are right, I might be a little harsh on their reviews lol. I think I took exception to the feeling they had that BMW has done nothing with the Z4….they tested the base engine, IMO you can truly criticize the Z4 from a performance standpoint when not reviewing a 40i.

BMWBLOG posted on Facebook May 12th that they were testing the car. Hopefully their review is out soon. I want to be able to watch something a hundred times before my car arrives.

5/17: wanted to have car summer of 2004 and located car 500 miles away
5/23: bought car from BMW of Lincoln and drove home to Colorado
5/24: car delivered by self to home

Yes. It goes from dispatched from the factory to at the port when it reaches Bremerhaven. It then goes in transit on the ship and at the port when it reaches the destination port. It then goes in transit from the port to the dealer. Here's the status from my delivery last year:

190 Dispatched from factory 03-24-2023
193 At the port 03-27-2023
195 In transit 04-12-2023
193 At the port 05-01-2023
195 In transit 05-17-2023
198 At the dealership 05-18-2023
