How is everyone protecting their Frozen Deep Green 6MTs

I have one on order and am very excited.

What is the consensus about best way to protect the Frozen Deep Green Paint?

PPF in the front?
Ceramic without PPF?
Both?

What are others doing with their Z4's with Frozen paint options?

I have a frozen deep green on order, currently en route to Belgium. I’ve already scheduled a full PPF and ceramic coating. The weather conditions in my country require frequent washing, so full protection is necessary. I don’t want any partial work done; I want to maintain the matte finish in perfect condition.

One little blemish that gets buffed too hard will create a shiny spot. You paid extra for nice paint so protect every piece of it!!! Xpel Stealth everywhere.

Picked up my Frozen Green yesterday Iam going to use Dr Beasleys Matte Ceramic coating. Washed it today and there are a few sticky white spots that didn't come off will have to order Dr Beasley spot cleaners before Decon and Ceramic coat.

Agreed that is the best protection. There are many discussions in the Cosmetic Care and Detailing forum concerning Frozen color protection and Xpel Stealth is definitely the favorite PPF brand.

While I agree with PPF, it seems a tad silly to pay for the frozen paint if you’re going to do full PPF. Just get San Remo and stealth the whole thing?

Had a funny thought about having my black Z4 covered in XPel Stealth.
I could save some money by buying a few rattle cans of black primer, like I did on the first car I ever owned.

It's an interesting idea--would it work? I thought Xpel Stealth was FOR finishes like the frozen green. Would it transform SRG into frozen green?

Xpel stealth transform any gloss colour to a matte colour. You would have frozen San Remo green with xpel stealth

Another color that would look great with Xpel Stealth is SSG! 👍🏻

If it’s not too late I’d switch to standard San Remo and do the stealth wrap like Jimbojsb suggests.

For a frozen paint you really have no option but to cover the whole car with PPF.

Great suggestion as they charge you an additional $2950 for the frozen color and the OP could apply that money towards the cost of the stealth PPF.

I’m going to have my black covered with Stealth and will report back with pix toward the end of July.

I had read that Skyscraper Gray Metallic is Frozen Gray Metallic with a gloss clear coat. Saw them side by side and they look like the exact same shade of gray. Does that sound correct???

Supposedly "frozen" is the clear coat only and the base layer under it is the same.

I don't know if what you're saying is indeed true, but it's highly likely.
