At a real deep discount it may be worth the chance, but not at the current price.

Thank you everyone for the feedback! I have decided to hold off. If they come back with a better offer I may reconsider. Right now the lowest price they can offer is $44,385 which I feel is too much for a potential lemon. The search continues!

You might have to pay a little more and you will locate one with a more mileage (maximum should be in the low teens). I don’t think that you want a bare bones, stripped down car, look for a CPO which is loaded with all the packages that you really want so you can enjoy driving the Z4.

I just found a 2021 Frozen Grey/ Magna Red M40i with only 16,000 miles for under $50k. The dealer is located in Merriam, KS and for this low price it might be worth a road trip if this works with your budget.
You would fly into Kansas City and then have a 2 day road trip home.
