My grandparents did that with their living room couches! Made it very uncomfortable to take naps...

I see these things on MOPARS all over Kansas City. It's silly. If you must leave them on, why not at least take some vinyl and wrap them in black or the body color?

Exactly. This is the very reason the term 'hater' has, is and will continue to be.

Now IMO... The yellow strip is cheesy and detracts from the car.
However... It is equally Corny AF to try and mock Dodge owners by placing cheesy yellow tape/vinyl to your own non Dodge vehicle.

Lose-Lose.

Then again, I've never been one for pin stripping, decals, bumper or any kind of stickers on my cars. All I want to see is Paint & Tint oh and nice Wheels.

I understand that the front of the car hits stuff first, but it's hardly the only part which will see wear and tear. And my word do they look dumb!!!! If they came on the car, like the splitter guards, almost fair enough to leave it on there...but intentionally spending money on them!?! My mind boggles. I'd rather have a rusty bonnet, and believe me when I say I don't like rust!

/end of OT, sorry. Had to rant.

He doesn't have a splitter...?
Bras do more harm than good in my experience. They may eliminate some stone chips, but when grit inevitably gets trapped between the bra and your paint, it's chafing the paint every second the car's in motion. The front of your car goes from high gloss, to semi-gloss, to eggshell, to flat.

Hah. Hadn't thought of that. Lose-lose. Double-definitely never having one on any of my cars.

Back on topic, I think it's pretty interesting how worked up Dodge seem about it all. For them to publicly announce that it's not part of the design etc etc, it's pretty full-on. Maybe they're more annoyed at their dealer network for allowing them to be left on... Who knows.
