It got more surreal as the seasons went on, but you notice touches of it in season 1 for sure. I think they were testing the waters until going all in on season 3 and 4.

I mentioned this already, but I really like Let the Right One In, really quality stuff and much better than the movie, which is rare (i.e. the latter thing turning out to be better than the 'original').

1883's even better! (though only 1 season)

And 1923 looks to be great too with Ford and Mirren.

Watching it now, it's very weird. Definitely need subtitles.

Really? 1883 is better?

I'm a fan of Kevin Costner, hence like yellowstone. How is 1883 in terms of story line, dialogues etc?

How to change your mind on Netflix. So far, I'm digging it.

How to POTENTIALLY use psychedelics to improve your life. Interesting details and controlled studies, history, etc.

IMO, a much better show. Even though it's only 1 season, great character development, pace, story. You care what's happening. Feels authentic. I like yellowstone just fine, and I understand it's a drama, but it seems very unrealistic to me. 1883 feels genuine. I do enjoy westerns and authetic period pieces. Faith Hill and Tim McGraw surprised me, very impressive.

I liked 1883, and maybe I'm just a bit naive but it seemed that folks couldn't move a mile without getting killed. Other than that it was a pretty decent series, I'm looking forward to 1923.

I'm offering a 2nd opinion re Tulsa King, I'm 4 episodes in, looks good to me. I personally don't have a prb w Sly's acting, even though he's been in some bad movies. The guy's got a half-paralyzed face, give him a break; he's doing fine.

I'm finishing up Better Call Saul, Yellowstone and just starting Wednesday. I can't wait to see what Taylor Sheridan came up with for Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren in 1923.

Watched Sebastian Maniscalco’s latest Netflix special. Funny as always, but not as animated or funny as some of his past shows.
