Goodluck and speedy recovery! My left shoulder has been getting progressively worse over the past year, need to get MRI done but thinking rotator cuff issues.

Best of luck with the surgery. I have a torn rotator cuff and detached bicep in my right arm. I wasn't given any good options for fixing it. So, I live with it. I had physical therapy to restore arm movement, which gave some improvement, but had some unusual side effects.

Was still active in martial arts till a few years ago so it got beat up pretty good over time. Was the heavy breaker on the demo team. Would do a series of boards & end up with concrete paving blocks. If this old guy can do it anyone can. Quote:
Was offered an alternative which might be something for you to see about. Alternative is to insert patches into the damaged area. Results are about 85/90% sucess. Issue is the insurance companies don't like to pay for this "extra" so you can be out of pocket $1500 to $3000. My choice was to go for the better odds.

Ugh, my rotator cuff is messed up, but I've been stretching and gently working it out for the last few months. It's not great yet but it's headed the right direction. You guys are making me nervous.
Funny how the cold weather thread took a turn. |

Might be a good plan to get ab AGM specific charger.

My Z4 was sitting in an unheated garage for nearly two weeks, with several days below 15 F. Started right up.
I have this charger in case it needs some juice. BMW part no. 82-11-0-087-135 https://www.getbmwparts.com/oem-part...kgUGFnZQ%3D%3D Charles

Good notes on the AGM battieries. The charger I linked has been great for me, and says it can do Optima AGM, but... I think the CTEK and BMW offerings are indeed probably better. I may actually replace my current charger with one of those!

I had a bunch of battery issues on my M340i, and I'm wondering if it was because it had the mild-hybrid system/battery as well, which the Z4 doesn't. That seemed to be super sensitive to the cold and would constantly give me low battery warnings.

It was a big help on my E89 which would struggle if I went 4 weeks without driving it. Started using the CTEK and no issues. It was also a good indicator of when the battery started going. I got about 7 years out of the battery. I changed it when I noticed the CTEK was taking noticeably longer to top it off when I plugged it in.
