Same here, all I recall was an interview where s BMW designer said the wheelbase is longer than the out going model.

The E9x M3 is not the Z4 M’s contemporary. BMW didn’t make an E89 Z4 M.

For me, the concepts muscular look comes from the hood meeting the kidney grille. But that won’t be the case in the production model. Also, that trunk sure will be funny looking since the tail lights protrude into it.
But I am optimistic of the production version. The 8 series too. |

There seems to be a great loss of sharpness on the front but for sure due to safety regulations.
Also the hood design lines seems to remain in the previous traditional way. Unfortunately the most sexy aspect of the concept, the 60' style rear end with its downwards increasing design seems to have become a completely different, much bulkier form. Why? Ask the car insurances Can't judge it seriously until complete reveal. |

These are not "spy shots." BMW wants us to see these abominations. Whether they are looking forward to huge sighs of relief when the actual Z4 comes out or not I don't know. If it looked like the concept car that would be a relief. But why is BMW playing games with the design?
Bottom line is these camo'd Z4s look absolutely hideous and unexciting.

Assuming they pull out a decent exterior this thing is under consideration
those lights tho hopefully are decoys cause they are hideous its hard to imagine BMW screwing this important release badly so I will assume itll turn out the way we want |

124 is a much better looking car IMO. Wish they had stuck a little closer to the e89 language. That said, I still think the z4mc was the peak for production z cars.

^^^that's a winner right there in my book. I would love to see a PHEV option, not sure if there'e enough room to package a battery in there though.

i believe BMW needs to evolve its style a bit and seems they re doing it now.. it looks like only rear side needs more work cause looks almost the same with Speedster made more than 10 years ago..
it still has 2 angels.. only not side by side.. |
