I wonder if the M Shadowline Lights from the 2023 would be backwards compatible with a 2022. I like some of the changes we are seeing with the 2023, but am still glad I ordered my 2022. I also see they do not have Glacier Silver as a color option for 2023, so just another reason I am glad I ordered when I did.

Configurator color is the same name as current selection, picture actually looks orange. I'd be surprised if it were actually red. I think that orange may look good in person with the thundernight exterior, but in pictures ... being red may not be great.

Color is never totally accurate when looking on a computer monitor. If people want to see the actual color they should go to a dealer and either look at a vehicle if available or the color swatches for each model that the dealers have on display.
I have always felt that the small swatches don't paint a true picture (pardon the pun) whether it is for the car's paint shade or interior color unless you are dealing with basic colors like black and white for the exterior and black for the interior. You really need to look at a car in person that has the colors you are interested in. |

This: When I started taking an interest in the Z4, I was put off by several color combos as rendered in the BMW configuration tool which I ended up liking quite a bit once I saw them in person.
