I think I can just get a keychain ring, but that is the last resort, though the easiest common sense option. Just sliding a keyring on this point will likely scratch the hell out of my gun which I don't want.

This is all overkill I know, as I already have a solution, I just don't want to scratch up my stuff.
I wont disappoint you, but this connection would indeed not match, had the same issue at the G36 with similar attachment point.
This lock wing has not enough space to embrace the attachment point and keeps the weapon safe for carrying and in my case it hasn't even fully closed to engage the small safe stud.
So I'd decided to buy kinda this one and being absolutely satisfied with it.
You can't avoid any scratches, a gun is a thing to use and it look worn more or less at a certain point.

I ran into the same issue with my the front mounting ring on my scar, ended up using 550 paracord. PMM also makes a QD mount that will solve your issue.

Thanks, but I already have this sling and want to use it for the Scorpion. Looks like a random keyring will be my best bet.

Picked this up today from a special order. What kind of fore grips are you guys using that you don't need a tax stamp for?

Already ordered a SP tactical brace before the ATF makes those illegal too 🤣

You don't need a tax stamp for any foregrip. Use what you want.

Wait a second. If you are asking about a vertical fore grip, then no, you can't have one on a pistol.

What you have is pretty good as is. If you want one with a light, get that, but otherwise you are good to go.

If you already have AR's, AK, some 12 gauges, what other guns would you purchase before its banned in the future?

A scar is a little out of my budget range.

Look to your home state for ideas.

FedGov and the states may not be able to ban certain firearms, but they will ban/severely restrict parts and accessories.

Good, standard AR15, but maybe a bit expensive for what it is.

For an off-the-shelf rifle, it is good to go.

I made the mistake last night of looking up reviews on best hunting rifles that are also very accurate. I knew nothing about the seekins havak pro hunter before I started but now I sort of want one.

Sadly only one shop seems to sell them in Canada and at $3,200 its more than I care to spend.

Might sell the Remington 700 and look for an xbolt though.

Sig cross is also a great option at a lower cost. They’re pretty lightweight

Ok, after researching more, the scar 16 has moved into my budget range. For those that have it, are you happy you bought it or would you rather have purchased something else?

In my option the scar 16 doesn’t make much sense as an alternative to the AR platform. If you have the RCH model the action is a more open design which won’t be as reliable, it’s heavier than a DI AR, and it’s much more expensive than even the best AR’s (KAC, DD, LMT, ect.). Now the scar 17 as a battle rifle, I don’t think there’s a better alternative. That’s just my .2 cents

I agree, can’t remember if I’ve posted mine here? However, I have to admit it’s a gun I don’t use much. Yes it looks amazing, but it’s so incredibly heavy and feels like a century behind my SCAR-17 (hell everything else does as well).

Looks cool, but in my opinion that’s about it.
