Thanks Dave. Seems like I go months without seeing one, and then I will get lucky and stumble on one that stays in the same area for a while. They don't migrate that I know of, but I seem to see more in fall/winter than other time of year, even though I just caught one hunting the other week. The one above is one I hadn't processed but took it in Feb.

Nice one DC. I had a fawn and a mama in my backyard last night. I had to chase them off, it was too dark for photos and they were eating my garden.

Well when the thermometer passed 100 this weekend, I stayed in the AC and went over some files from cooler times. From last Christmas Day, I didn't like the way the contrails cut across this shot, but still an eagle:
