Though green/brown is a great combo for a convertible sports car, I'm still liking the idea of thundernight metallic + red interior.

Can't wait for the configurator to be up to play with it.

That's what the German Konfigurator shows. Black piping with the M-fabric tag and black door inserts. Ivory and Red options should color the door inserts like non-exclusive Cognac and Alcantara.

I went with Alcantara/Leather.

I debated this combo strongly when I ordered mine. Would have been bold, and I didn’t do it because I wissed out. Anyway, I saw this a few months later, and had I seen it before I would have done it. I think it looks awesome.

In the mirror? I don't think that's possible on the Z4 but, yes, I've had it in the rearview mirror of other vehicles and I used it.

Agree. Especially if the brake calipers are red. To me green and red clash.

I realize that conversation about tastes is hopeless. And I like green and red too. At least around Christmas. Just make sure that your choice of automotive paint is not influenced by the hype of the invented charm of British roadster pushed down by the marketing. Just like the charm of diamonds invented out of the thin air by de Beers.

Folks, I think that we can agree that selecting a car’s color combination is very subjective and there is no right or wrong as long as the buyer likes the how it looks.

Didn’t even ask, just assumed it’s MSRP for now. I’m a BMW CCA chapter president, I usually get taken care of pretty well by my dealer one way or the other, plus I’ll get the rebate on the car.

My build came out to $74,700 with all the boxes checked, which was less than I was expecting. ZED package is inclusive of a lot of paid options like metallic paint and nicer leather.
