No it doesn't look like it's concert. Hope the released car looks better than its leak... which by the way looks like Toyota and mini had a baby..,,

Honestly this is pretty disappointing. The front end is a carbon copy of the fiat 124 - which isn't a good thing. The back is all types of busy.

The original z3 is timeless, particularly the M roadster. Wish BMW would've taken a page out of that playbook.

Hard to see this being more compelling than a 718 boxster.

It looks like old Z4 and M2 offspring with z-4 dominant genes.

I think you can forget about that, and also about V8s in future european cars with the new emission laws. Even Merc will probably give up on the V8 in next generation "63"s (they will also probably called otherwise)

I think Z4 Coupe original car was the best in terms of design. I dont need a calendar to tell me which year it is outside, so not a fan of this new design.

I took the lights off the pic and placed it on a camouflaged one and this is what it looks like. The original photo angle has a bit of a fisheye effect because if you overlay the grille onto the camo one you realize that the red z4 looks like it has a huge grille. I personally still have mixed feelings though. I have to see it in person.

I used an anti-fisheye effect in photoshop. Here's what the Z4 M40i looks like with it. It distorted the top half of the image though.

The earlier photo of the camo one I posted has a different front bumper that I think looks more like the concept.

look up the bmw 507; the front of this car has the classic look. We can have different taste, no need to be a douche bag

the headlights make the front look silly. looks like a bug that was shot into the air and its eyes are peeling back. the rear from the side angle looks just like a merc. looks like a very fun car to drive though.

What a relief it is to finally see the production car!

I was terrified that I would have to save a ton of money and buy a G29 to replace my much-loved and treasured E85 Z4 3.0si. Now that I've seen the G29, its clear that I can happily keep my E85 for years to come.

When is the official reveal?
What are you talking about?!?!

There are LOTS of differences!

Comparing Front Views:
- Brake Cooling Scoops are smaller
- Front/Center scoop is sculptured differently
- No side vents in hood
- Headlights are larger and rounder
- Mirrors are completely different
- A-Pillars are much more noticeable from Front

Rear View:
- Rear vents sculpted different
- Diffuser is different
- Tail lights are bigger and narrower
- Exhaust tips are different

Side View:
- Front vents are not cut back as much
- Headlights are shorter
- Nose Overhang is reduced
- No Nacelles behind head rests
- Door handles have been added
- Less "swoopy" - no shoulder line at headrests

Overall, looks much more generic than the prototype. Like it was left to soften and shrink in the hot sun...

This is typical BMW, though. Go to mass market with a more generic easier to sell to the masses car. Still more edgy than most of their designs coming out right now.

Interesting

I only came to read the complaints. lol

Interesting results so far, though.
