I didn't see a thread that covers this so I'll start a new one and ask my weird question.

How far forward does the passenger seat back fold on top of the seat bottom. I'm wondering if it folds almost to a flat surface?

I don't have my car yet so relying on current owners to help me out.

It doesn’t t really IMO. It’s designed jsut as a seat back so perhaps folds to an unfeasibly uncomfortable upright position and then a bit more but nowhere near flat.

Agreed; if you're looking to recline the seat and take a nap, the Z4 would not be anywhere near ideal. Maybe slightly better than coach seats on an airline.

I think the question is how far it folds forward, not back.

Yeah, it doesn’t fold forward very much at all.
