As I said in my opening post, this is a great color for a roadster and would be my first choice if I was ordering a Z4 today.
Certainly not for me, but it's good that bolder colors are available, and people want them, particularly on interesting cars.

Yes and you have to use a soap with no parafins or wax in it.

Was watching some YouTube reviews of a Thundernight metallic, wife asked me if that was a custom color!
One of my favorites on the Z4

Brooklyn Grey, in my opinion, would be fire on the Z4.

I agree that BG would be a fabulous addition. Not to sound like a broken record but it would be nice if BMW added some really hot roadster colors (look at some of the Porsche colors) in the yellow, orange and blue families.

Their initial launch color was Frozen Orange which was never offered in the US. That disappeared and then with the exception of Misano Blue the powers that be decided to go conservative with the colors we were offered.

Unfortunately this will never happen as they have treated the Z4 as a step child in their car lineup.

Supra had a really good looking yellow a few years ago, and that's no longer available. I wouldn't mind having that yellow on the Z, but I probably have a better chance at getting a 718 GTS than that.

Yes, I also liked the Supra yellow.

I think BMW assumed that the Z4 was attracting an older buyer and that age equals more conservative colors.
A roadster is meant to be a fun car to drive and in my opinion fun also means some exciting colors! 😎

Speaking of roadsters with a lacking color pallet, the ND Miata other then a limited run Orange has had run of the mill colors. As a car aimed at being a fun car with extremely limited storage, people have wanted different options.
