Picked up this little guy early September of this year. He is about 15 weeks now.

Mini dachshund with a little bit of chihuahua....aka..Chawinnie or Choxie.

His name is Magoo and he is the sweetest little guy. He just loves to sleep and curl up on your lap and doesn't make a peep. Only challenge has been teaching our 5 yr old daughter about the pup and his boundries.

1st pic is when he was staying with his foster parents.

My boxador turned 1 this week. she is awesome and says if you leave anything out I'll destroy it!

Family dogs Chester and Cooper. Both have a combined singular brain cell. Chester always looks anxious and Cooper looks like Crazy eyes from Mr. Deeds

We lost Jake (the ruby) back in 2018 at 15 and now Chloe (tri-color) has stopped eating, thinking its time but we'll see what the vet has to say...

Thanks. Almost three years of medications to deal with heart failure have led to severe kidney failure. Now a quality of life decision for us. She will eat turkey from the deli now but that last thing her kidneys need is all that protein. Hoping we can keep her going till the weekend so that the boys can come home to say goodbye.

That sounds rough. Not exactly the same as you but I've been there. Most of us pet owners have had to go through it. It's hard. I'm sure you'll know the right time to say farewell to your old friend.

Oh no, so sorry to hear. I hope the vet has a solution at least for the short-term. This is one thing that doesn’t get easier with experience. Sorry you and your family are going through it again.

Not really unfortunately. Options are 4-5 days in the vet hospital hoping to stabilize her and get her eating again and that might buy an undetermined amount of time. It’s just time though she seems comfortable so we’re hoping to keep her going until the weekend so the boys can make it home from school to say goodbye.
