im 112 too and telling myself if it sits at port less than 10days could get here near July 4th, most likely late July -early Aug.

Dont rely on SA's prediction on delivery date , most of the delays are in shipping and no one can predict any dates

I speculate this large allocation will run to plants vacation shut down and next allocation will be for August. If this best guess is correct, if you don't get an allocation in the next 3weeks your Z4 won't arrive until Halloween timeline.

I can't quite tell what sort of production volumes that adds up to, but it is clear that the manuals >> the automatics by a large margin. That warms my heart to see people taking them.

Should I bother my SA to let him know the allocation won’t automatically pull? Sounds like this didn’t standard?

if your dealer doesn't have an allocation there would be some options the mgr or order specialist would do to get one. No guarantee the CA will get one.

I'd also be patient these came in on Friday and the bosses print their reports, look at this update prob today. Emails to reps and call in favors to their networks...

Woo hoo!! My order just went into production! My order was accepted 3/28 so I had a longer wait than I wanted for it to go to production.

Checked this past Friday with local dealer and they had an open production slot for June. I locked down my M40 Handschalter in skyscraper grey over magma red and have a production number!!!

I'm pretty excited about BMW releasing this one. I'm planning on ordering one sometime this fall to replace my 1er and garage next to my 991. I spent the last week with a Turo rental of a 2021 4 cyl version and really enjoyed the platform.

I've been playing with the configurator for the last couple of days. Random question: Can you order the Adaptive LED headlights without the shadowline package? I want as much San Remo as possible and don't want to trade black mirror caps for better headlights. (although studying the Handshalter package, it looks like all manuals are stuck with black mirror caps?)

No, everything is bundled in odd packages instead of a la carte.

Edit: And all 6MTs come with the black mirror caps, and of course San Remo is exclusive to the 6MT.
