I read that Jesus was likely born in the spring, Christmas as we know it was originally a Pagan celebration but was replaced with our holiday.

correct I read somewhere April and yes the early church didn't want Pagan's celebrating there stuff so said, hey lets make Christmas our celebration!
yup the most important part which most miss and Christians understand, it's not so much important the date of Christ's birth or even his death, but his resurrection. (of course assuming you believe in that  as I know some do and some don't) and a MErry Christmas to you to tcphoto Quote:

While everyone is celebrating Christmas Eve, let’s all take a look back and reflect on the horrific events that took place at the Nakatomi Plaze 34 years ago in 1988. Harry Ellis, a great executive who put his life on the line to help Hans Gruber smooth over tensions caused by the Cowboy John McClane, should be remembered for his bravery. All these allegations that he was sleazy, a cocaine user and an addict are purely false. Please take a moment and reflect on this life Harry Ellis lived.

Can't remember the film, same thing but a plane Hijack, the one where they were going to detonate some nerve toxin over the US and they had some crack team board the plane while in flight, Kurt Russell ?
There was a senator on board and either him or his assistant tried the same thing, "The president will look after me I can talk to him for you" Got him shot for the privileged One thing I've learned from films, unless your the star of the show, don't do shit, they shoot the extras ! |

I understand when one is in Prison/Jail/The big house, you find the biggest baddest dude (or dudette) and break there nose to show dominance. This happened to a friend of mine, heard this story, a big guy (with 2 others in tow) came up to him and looked at him menacingly and asked him what he was doing tonight. with a smirk, my mate just smacked him in the mouth knocking a tooth out replying "why Bi6tch?" May you and your families see health, wealth, peace and joy, May your New Year be everything that this year wasn't Try to remember the less fortunate when your necking all that eggnog, also remember that alcohol weakens the heart muscles. Don't drink and drive AND DON'T smoke dope and fly. I have enough problems keeping up with my heart and Diabetes meds to worrying about illegal drugs.
